Step One: Virtual Consultation
You and your child meet with a curriculum developer to discuss your needs, goals, and challenges. We take great care to get to know your child, what will interest them, and what they need.
You and your child meet with a curriculum developer to discuss your needs, goals, and challenges. We take great care to get to know your child, what will interest them, and what they need.
Your curriculum developer will create a customized curriculum for your child, with curated resources and a learning pathway, including projects and explorations for your child to work on.
Your curriculum will include a variety of written and video resources, tasks, and projects, depending on preferences and goals.
Your curriculum is hosted on a learning management platform where you can track your progress.
Depending on your child's age, experience, and interests, they might learn GDevelop (a no-code game development platform), Unity, Unreal, or Godot using C#, C++, or GDScript.
Learn MoreYou and your child can reach out anytime for curriculum support for a full year after receiving your curriculum.
While we don't offer teaching, we can always suggest more resources in areas where your child is struggling.
We specialize in building customized learning journeys into computer science. We work with each student 1:1 to develop a learning path that will suit them and be tailored to their needs, abilities, goals, and learning styles. We work primarily with students aged 7 to 18.
We strive to build curricula that perfectly complement your education journey. We consider your family's educational philosophy and make learning as fun and as demand-free as possible. There are no time limits on your child's progress, and we offer support for summarizing student learning to meet state requirements.
We work with students who want to expand their knowledge and understanding of computer science outside of school, and we aim to make your learning as engaging and interesting as possible.
We have a deep understanding of the strengths and challenges of diverse learning needs. We specialize in students with Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and students identified as Twice Exceptional (gifted with a learning disability).
Parents can be as deeply involved as they want to be in the curriculum development process. We understand that not all parents have the knowledge and experience to guide their child into computer science, and we strive to ensure that you are supported and understood throughout.
We develop learning pathways for students at any stage of their learning journey and with any end goal in mind.
Learn to code in Python, C#, C++, Wolfram Language/Mathematica, or HTML/CSS, depending on what you want to accomplish.
Advance from playing video games to making them, working primarily with GDevelop, a no-code platform suitable for students who aren't ready to code yet.
Level up to coding by creating 2D and 3D games! We usually recommend learning in Unity with C#. We help students learn all aspects of game development, including programming, art design, narrative design, level design, sound design, and game development theory.
We help students who are already comfortable with the essentials of game development advance their coding skills.
